Wearing jewelry to represent your children has become even more popular, expanding from the traditional mother’s birthstone rings to an assortment of necklaces that can be as unique and diverse as the wearer. I wanted to do a necklace that not only represented ones desire to celebrate their children, but to do so in a clean, modern and tasteful way that is understated. I found these vintage dead-stock brass silhouettes, one for a boy and one for a girl. They were perfect and had the exact look and feel I wanted. I knew that the addition of having them cast in solid bronze and silver white bronze would make them even more special and give that needed feeling of timelessness. I love that you can wear one charm on a chain or add multiple charms to one necklace or even add them to your favourite necklace as well.
